Sigurd Wongraven is a musician from Norway with a deep and sincere passion for wine. He develops and blends his own wines under the label Wongraven Wines, based on grapes cultivated and vinified by premier winemakers from Piedmont, Champagne and Pfalz. This dry riesling is made from grapes cultivated and vinified by small producers in Pfalz, Germany and selected by Wongraven Wines. The wines are then blended by Sigurd Wongraven to make this Cuvée, Morgenstern Riesling. The aim has been to produce a traditional and authentic expression of the aromatic and vibrant riesling grape, yet with a moderate alcohol content giving it the elegance and lightness it deserves. Morgenstern Riesling is fruit driven, fresh and mineral in style. Food pairing: on its own or pair well with fish, sushi, white meat, salty meat or tapas. Serving temperature: 8° C. Taste: Dry on the palate with ripe stone fruits, green apples, grapefruit and white flowers. Superb freshness and a dry, lingering finish. Appearance: Straw color.
