Sigurd Wongraven is best known for his role as singer / songwriter for Black Metal band Satyricon. In the last 10 years he has also built up a unique wine company with most prominent brands in the Norwegian wine market. Wongraven Alleanza Langhe Rosso is a mixture of Barbera and Nebbiolo grapes harvested mainly in the Barolo and Barbaresco area. Food pairing: drink well on its own or pair beautifully with a wide range of food. Pasta, pizza, risotto, charcuterie, chicken, pork, lamb or even steak. Serving temperature: 15-16° C. Taste: Juicy with medium body and tannins, great freshness and flavors of cherries, lavender and licorice. Finishes off dry and refreshing. Appearance: Deep purple color. Aroma: Aromas of cherries, licorice root and flowers. Grape variety: Barbera, Nebbiolo.
