This wine is produced at our Feudo di Mezzo winery, situated in the heart of Etna viticulture. It comes from Nerello Mascalese grapes, and from the search for a modern expression of this noble grape variety cultivated in the unique and splendid terroir of Etna. Food pairing: with the simplest dishes, like pasta with tomato sauce, to the most complex, both meat and fish. Serving temperature: 16-18° C. Taste: Fleshy and smooth in the mouth. A wine which unexpectedly transforms itself into a champion of red drinks, with marked flavour and a tasting profile with emerging and exciting traces of iron, rhubarb and black pepper. Appearance: Ruby red. Aroma: Vanilla, sour cherry, wild strawberry, a very clean flowery touch. Very expressive fruit with more complex aromatic intrusions of undergrowth, myrtle and oriental spices.
