Vertente is an appealing wine with fruit and concentration. It is also elegant with a very gastronomic profile. The grapes come from 25 years old vineyards of Quinta de Nápoles in the Tedo Valley and from Pinhão Valley’s old vineyards. It is dense, complex and fresh. Pleasant to drink young and with a fantastic quality price ratio. Food pairing: Roast beef, tradicional portuguese duck rice, tradicional codfish dishes, Magré de Canard, Camembert, Sainte Albré, Brie. Serving temperature: 16º C. Taste: Good volume in the mouth, with tannins that recall schist. Acidity and fruit well combined. Long and fresh finish. Appearance: Violet colour of medium concentration. Aroma: Restrained in the aroma, with mineral aromas, tense and with a very soft floral aroma. Well integrated wood, with smoked and iodized notes. Grape variety: Tinta Amarela, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca.
