Most of the grapes for Gavi’s production come from Gavi, which is considered the best part of the entire production zone. Very fresh and mineral-rich due to its proximity to the sea of Liguria, the exposure and the wind makes for an incredibly pleasant white wine. Food pairing: with starters, shellfish and fish. Thanks to its structure and minerality, it is ideal for sipping alongside rice salads, savoury tarts with vegetables, light first courses and fish courses. Excellent with soft fresh cheeses. Serving temperature: 8° C. Taste: The taste is harmonious and has remarkable sapidity. Appearance: Light straw yellow with pale green hues. Aroma: The intense and refined aroma is persistent and has fruity and floral notes, reminiscent of Golden Delicious apple and green almonds, with a strong scent of chamomile flowers.
