The grapes used in the production of this wine come from ideally located vineyards, with perfect soil quality, in the communities of Barbaresco and Neive. The wine is aged for one year, with the fining continuing in-bottle for 12 months, before it is finally taken to the market. The Barbaresco Tradizione reaches its initial maturity some 3 years after harvest, but is matured further for another 3 to 20 years. A venerable family tradition. Food pairing: is ideal for sipping alongside hearty first courses, pastas with meat sauces, agnolotti, red meats, roasts and stews, hard medium-ripened cheeses. Serving temperature: 18° C. Taste: Full-bodied but at the same time harmonious and balanced, with graceful, never-too-prominent tannins. Appearance: Garnet red with ruby hues. Aroma: Intense, persistent, with clear scents of fruit, dog rose and spices. Grape variety: Nebbiolo.
