This Premier Cru is one of the most southern Premiers Cru´s of Volnay. The soil is made of clay on the surface with the limestone bedrock beiing quite deep. Taste: This wine displays a long structure with quite a lot of tannins nicely integrated by a soft fruit texture. Appearance: Ruby red. Aroma: The nose shows aromas of small red berries mixed with spices. Grape variety: Pinot Noir.
