A shining light across the world, Louis Eschenauer has a long-standing history of over 200 years. In 1821, the Eschenauer family, originally from Alsace, settled in Bordeaux and made a brilliant entry into the wine merchant business. The family became very closely linked with the reputation of the wines of Bordeaux and was instrumental in determining the price of French wine for export. The family also acquired very many Bordeaux châteaux and introduced a proprietary form of vinification. Food pairing: an ideal partner for your aperitifs, rich fish dishes, white meats and poultry. Serving temperature: 10-12° C.
Taste: A rich palate, fleshy and harmonious with lemony notes.
Appearance: A golden colour with a few green tints.
Aroma: A rich bouquet expressing notes of acacia flowers, fresh butter, pineapple and tropical fruit.
Grape variety: Chardonnay.
