This is our founding wine. The original label, featuring a picture of a wild boar and the name "insoglio", the place where this animal goes to root and roll around, expresses the soul and culture of the Maremma. Exceptionally fruity, fine, linear and versatile. Food pairing: Game dishes, roast pheasant or rich game stews. Serving temperature: 16-18° C. Taste: The entry onto the palate is fresh and vibrant, thanks to a nice acidity that sustains the mouthfeel. Fragrant, with a juiciness characterised by red fruits. Well-rounded tannins are present in the finish which closes with outstanding persistence. Appearance: Brilliant, deep purplish red with violet hues. Aroma: A complex array of aromas: from fruity, attributable to cherry and sour cherry, to elegant and well-in- tegrated peppery and boisée spices, closing with nuances of rosemary and myrtle, typical of the Mediterranean maquis. Grape variety: Cabernet, Syrah, Merlot, Petit Verdot.
