The rugged beauty of the Orkney landscape has drawn creative people here for thousands of years. But at Highland Park, the land of Orkney is more than just an inspiration. Since 1798 we’ve been using heathered peat from Hobbister moor to dry our malts, resulting in the unique, subtly smoky flavour of our whisky. Taste: Baked apples and a hint of nutmeg on the palate, with a lingering finish of subtle smoke from our Orkney heathered peat. Appearance: Light gold. Aroma: Sweet and smoky on the nose, with a creamy note of vanilla crème brûlée.
