In 1850 Thomas Hardy sailed for Australia from England. Three years later he established his first vineyard on the banks of the River Torrens in Adelaide and laid the foundation for one of Australia's most famous wine dynasties, Hardys. Over 160 years later, fifth generation Hardys Winemaker and ambassador, Bill Hardy, continues this history of passion for the creation of fine wines. In the last decade Hardys wines have won more than 2800 awards. Food pairing: with fish, chickena and pork dishes, pasta, mild and creamy cheeses. Serving temperature: 10-12° C. Taste: Medium-bodied with juicy fruit characters of white peach, cream and pineapple. Generous creamy texture, sweet fruit and lemon sherbert finish. Appearance: Brilliant, clear, pale straw.
