All Brugal ingredients come from the Dominican Republic. The selection is strict. Only the best quality sugar cane, yeast and water are used in the production. Due to its dry taste profile, the premium rum offers an excellent basis for perfectly balanced drinks. Brugal achieves the special taste through the greatest care in the production process, because only the purest distillate is released for maturation. The Añejo matures for up to five years in selected American oak bourbon barrels, and our distillation process extracts the heavy alcohols found in other rums. The result is a clear, mild and not too sweet spirit with an unforgettable taste. Delightful buttery aromas and slight hints of caramel emerge.
