Bertani Valpolicella Ripasso is made in the north of Italy. The area runs along the foothills of the Alps from Lake Garda to Venice. Veneto is the most diverse wine region in all of Italy. About 20% of the Italian DOC wines come from this region. Inthe north around Lake Garda, moraine gravel is more common. In the western plains, alluvial gravel and fertile arable soil are dominant. The mountains of the Alps shield Veneto from cold winds. This allows the vines to thrive even at high altitudes. Food pairing: It goes well with roasts, game, stews, braised meats and particularly tasty cheeses. Serving temperature: 16-18° C.
Taste: It is full, soft and round, characterized by a lively and intense nerve. A slight trail of flavor accompanies the sip towards a finish of great persistence, characterized by continuous references of ripe fruit.
Appearance: Purple red color.
Aroma: Very intense notes of dark fruit, blackberry, black currant and ripe cherry.
Grape variety: Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, Merlot.
