These wines are typical of their geographic origin, and have been created to enable the discovery and appreciation of the different facets of the superlative Bordeaux terroir. Réserve Mouton Cadet Médoc reveals fresh black fruit, power, density. Taste: Colour: a deep garnet red. Nose: the highly complex nose offers aromas of ripe black fruit combined with smoke and toast, going on to develop notes of liquorice and fine spice. Palate: the attack is rich, full-bodied and fresh. The very full mi-palate reveals pronounced black fruit flavours over an elegant tannic structure, with fresh fruit returning on the finish. A fine balance between fruit and oak. Menu suggestions: a most enjoyable accompaniment to grilled rib steack, steack with mushroom or rabbit in wine and mushroom sauce.
