Mouton Cadet Rouge reveals mature fruit and powerful tannins. The rich red and deep purple tones, the sumptuous aroma of ripe cherries, St. Lucie cherries and blackcurrants plus the silky tannins make the Mouton Cadet into a full wine with an unmistakable Merlot character. A short period of ageing in a tank helps bring out the sparkling fruitiness of this wine. Food pairing: rib steak with shallots, breast of veal, duck, lamb cutlets.
