The wines selected are sourced from the finest wine regions. Careful multiple distillation in copper stills is followed by several years of maturation and storage in small Limousin oak casks, which is then followed by the secret Asbach maturing and refining process until it reaches its smooth and unique taste. Taste: An initially rather dry taste of dried fruits is followed by a subtle light sweetness and a palatable pepperiness accompanied by restrained chocolate and coffee notes. Finish: Subtle notes of oak wood, warming. Colour: Amber with hint of copper. Nose: A vanilla flavour with hints of cocoa and fine wood.
