Made from grapes carefully selected in the Marchesi Antinori’s best Tuscan vineyards. After ageing for twelve months in French, American and Hungarian oak barriques, the wine matures for a further eight months in the bottles. This is a complex, well-structured wine with soft, stylish tannins. Food pairing: spaghetti with caper and tomato sauce, duck breast with sugar snap peas or leek soup. Serving temperature: 15-18° C. Taste: Is mouth filling with supple,velvety tannins sustained by outstanding freshnessand pleasant sapidity. Appearance: Ruby red. Aroma: Intense, intriguing and presents fruity notes of black cherries and plum jam together with hints of boxwood, tobacco,and vanilla. Grape variety: Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah.
