It combines the fresh spring water of the Pitilie Burn with the skill of generations of craftsmen to produce an outstanding single malt whisky renowned for its heather-honey softness and full body. Distilled at Aberfeldy, the original Dewar family distillery, since 1898, Aberfeldy is the heart of all Dewar´s blends. Taste: Heather honey with a fruity softness, and notes of pineapple, toast and cereal. Aroma: Honey sweetness that is distinctively Aberfeldy, lingering almost like a liqueur and displaying a full-flavoured and decidedly dry finish, in which the perfume characteristics become increasingly spicy, with just a hint of Seville oranges.
